Culinary Unicorn is Edmonton’s hidden gem — a locally owned restaurant, cocktail bar and social escape tucked inside the Matrix Hotel in downtown Edmonton. Inspired by the glamour of 1970s Beverly Hills, the energy of vintage Las Vegas and the effortless cool of Los Angeles, Culinary Unicorn was created to feel different from the moment you walk through the door. Think elevated comfort food, beautifully crafted cocktails, great music and a room designed for lingering a little longer. Our approach is upscale without being stuffy, playful without trying too hard. From dinner and cocktails to Martini Mondays, resident DJs and weekend programming, the experience evolves throughout the week while great food remains at the centre of it all. Whether you’re joining us for dinner, cocktails, a date night, a celebration or simply discovering somewhere new, Culinary Unicorn is designed to be a little unexpected.
